Measure the neck, then pick the spout

A bottle is where a canning funnel stops working, because its spout sits on top of the neck instead of inside it. The red silicone funnel has a half-inch spout that slides into most oil cruets, water bottles and kombucha bottles, and the set folds flat when you are done. The plastic set of six goes further, from 0.55 down to 0.23 inch, for spice jars, hot sauce bottles and travel bottles.

Measure across the inside of the neck and pick a spout a little narrower. Pour in short bursts and let the bowl drain between them: a narrow spout takes a moment, and a bowl that overflows is the only way a funnel drips.

Questions

Questions about the Delove bottle funnel

Will a Delove bottle funnel fit your olive oil cruet?

The red silicone funnel has a half-inch spout that fits most cruets. For a narrower neck, use one of the six plastic funnels, with spouts from 0.23 to 0.55 inch.

Which Delove bottle funnel should you pick for travel bottles?

The plastic set of six. Its smallest spouts, 0.23 and 0.26 inch, slide into the necks of small travel bottles.

Can you use a Delove bottle funnel for dry goods?

Yes. Spices, sugar and salt pour through the wider plastic funnels. Tap the side lightly to keep powders moving through a narrow spout.
