Three sets, three kinds of opening

Each of our funnel sets is built around a different opening. The stainless set has a 2.25-inch spout for wide mouth jars and a 1.42-inch spout for regular mouth jars. The silicone set adds a half-inch spout for bottles and folds flat. The plastic set of six goes down to 0.23 inch for the narrowest necks.

Measure the inside of the opening you fill most often, then pick the set with a spout a little narrower than that. Each product page lists every spout in its specifications.

On canning day

A funnel keeps hot food off the rim of the jar, and Nebraska Extension notes that an uncleaned rim may cause a seal to fail. Rest the funnel in the jar, ladle the food in, lift it off and wipe the rim with a damp paper towel before the lid goes on.

Both canning sets carry a strainer that drops into the bowl, for syrups with seeds, juice with pulp and loose tea.

Questions

Questions about Delove kitchen funnels

Which Delove funnel set fits your wide mouth jars?

The steel set (2.25-inch spout) and the silicone set (2.2-inch spout, the blue funnel). The plastic set is for narrow necks, not jars.

Will a Delove funnel fit your oil bottle?

The red silicone funnel has a half-inch spout for most bottle necks, and the plastic set of six goes down to 0.23 inch for the narrowest ones.

How do you store Delove funnels in a small kitchen?

The steel funnels and the strainer nest into one. The silicone funnels fold into flat rings. The six plastic funnels stack and each has a loop to hang it on a hook.
